John DiOrio, CAIA

John joined SCS Financial in 2019, with over 12 years of experience working in the investment business. As a Managing Director in the Investment Services Group, John works across the public and private asset classes to tailor investment strategies according to client needs and actively monitor portfolios. Previously, John was a Vice President focused on equity capital markets at Unison Realty Partners, a private real estate owner and operator focused on retail shopping center investments. Prior to Unison, John was an Assistant Vice President at FLAG Capital Management, a private equity and real assets fund-of-funds investor with over $7 billion in client commitments. There he was in charge of key business development efforts across the firm’s global investment strategies: private equity, venture capital, energy and natural resources, and real estate. John began his career as an Associate for Monument Group, a private equity placement agent. John earned a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder.
