As CIO of Public Investments in the Investment Group, Steve is an integral part of sourcing, evaluating, and making investment decisions across asset classes. He oversees SCS’ public market investments spanning Fixed Income, Hedge Funds, and Public Equity, and he manages a team of analysts covering these areas. Steve is also actively involved in shaping the firm’s asset allocation, capital market assumptions, and macroeconomic views.
He is driven by the challenge of building resilient portfolios in an ever-changing environment. His goal is to help clients navigate complexity with confidence and ensure their capital is positioned to weather a wide range of outcomes through thoughtful portfolio construction, risk awareness, and long-term discipline.
