Drawing on decades of institutional and family office experience across the capital markets, he shares best practices and strategic insights to fully leverage SCS Financial’s extensive capabilities on behalf of clients.
Peek is driven by a passion for serving families with the full breadth of institutional and family office expertise he has cultivated over four decades. From founding and growing Edge Capital to advising across insurance and global capital markets, he is motivated by delivering thoughtful, comprehensive solutions that stand the test of time—while remaining deeply committed to giving back to the communities and causes he values.

  • 40+ years of experience across institutional and family office capital markets, including insurance, fixed income, equities, private equity, and real estate
  • Founding Partner and Board Member of Edge Capital (acquired by SCS via acquisition in 2025), helping build and grow a globally recognized family office platform
  • Prior roles with The Garlington Group, Lehman Brothers (Institutional Fixed Income and Private Equity), and Credit Suisse U.S. Wealth Management

Beyond SCS

Peek is actively involved in conservation and community initiatives. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the Delta Waterfowl Foundation and as Co-Chair of its Development Committee. He is Co-Founder of the Fact Relief Foundation, which supports families facing healthcare crises, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Bluegrass Land Conservancy. He is also an Honorary Trustee of the Turner Foundation. An avid outdoorsman, Peek enjoys fly fishing, waterfowl hunting, wing shooting, bow hunting, and golf. He lives on his farm with his wife, Jennie, and their six children.
